What is the Apple Consultants Network?

We think Apple says it best: The Apple Consultants Network is your preferred source for Apple-certified technical consultants. Membership is comprised of consulting firms that are passionate about delivering high-quality, innovative technology consulting and professional services to clients of all types. Staffed with technical personnel holding Apple certifications, each member company is independently owned and operated and has met the strict requirements for inclusion in the Apple Consultants Network.

For you, it means getting the most from your tech investments and professional advice on Apple or multi-platform solutions.

Can you recover my data?

Yes. Even if your computer crashes, often times the data can still be recovered. Don’t panic, call us. We’ve recovered many files and memories over the years.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No, you do not need appointments, but we do prefer them.  Call or email anytime, or stop in our office during business hours. Like we say, the IT Doctors team is always scrubbed in and ready to help.

Why do you wear scrubs?

We’re not your typical IT company, and from the beginning we knew that a theme and image was important – IT Doctors was it, and scrubs were a natural but unique choice. Like a doctor, we’re professionals focused on overall health, well-being and always available to treat acute ailments – only for technology. The scrubs are part branding, part team reinforcement, part fun and just plain comfortable. Plus admit it, you like them too.

What brands of computers do you service?

IT Doctors works on all types of computers, PC or Mac, even custom-built. We are proud to be a member of the Apple Consultants Network, a Microsoft Certified Consultant and Dell certified.

How much will it cost to fix my computer?

Every client’s situation is unique, but IT Doctors’ approach is always the same: provide you with the most cost-effective solution and exceptional repair service. We also offer maintenance plans and discounts for certain services, just ask us.

What is the difference between POP and hosted Exchange email?

POP is a basic email that has been common since the 1980s. It less expensive than Outlook Exchange, but lacks advanced functionality. POP email is stored on your local PC rather than a central server, so emails that came through another device such as a different computer, laptop or mobile, will not be seen on your local PC.
Outlook Exchange on the other hand, has advanced features that help small businesses boost productivity, including: mobile access, shared calendars, task list, file-sharing and contacts. Because everything is stored centrally, you always see the latest version of everything.  You also have Web mail, enabling the ability to log in from any computer with an internet connection. Contacts are shared, meaning company or client contact information will not be lost or misplaced.  This hosted solution ensures backup and uptime of nearly 100%.
